The Pink Lady Collection
This is an antique Victorian lion's head hinged bangle bracelet. Beautifully rendered in yellow gold plate, this ornate bangle features a large lion's head in front with applied decorations on each side. With its highly-contoured face and wild mane, the lion has lots of character. Two deep red rhinestones form the eyes and a clear, brilliant rhinestone sits in the open mouth, adding sparkle. The sides are decorated with intricate metal work, while the back is smooth. The bracelet is in very g...

The Pink Lady Collection
This is a very old and lovely Victorian Cameo necklace. It has two acqu glass stones on each side and the metal is Sterling silver. The necklace with chain and spring ring closure is just shy of 18" long. The cameo dangle piece is 1 1/2" long and the front decoration is 5/8" wide. The stones and cameo are all bezel set. The necklace is in good condition except that the chain could use some polishing, and it looks to me as if the spring ring closure is a replacement as it is shinier than the...

The Pink Lady Collection
When I said that I was slowly parting with my lifetime treasures, I wasn't kidding. This Victorian Swivel cameo is one of them. It is large - 3" x 2". Inside the fancy gold plated fram part is a beautifully carved shell cameo of St. George slaying the Dragon. The theme was a favorite one of the Victorians and St. George is the Patron Saint of England. The cameois set in a gold bezel that once the pin stem is disengaged swivels around to a compartment that Victorians often used to use fir th...

The Pink Lady Collection
This is a lovely old piece. It is an adjustable thin gold filled bangle bracelet - adjusts up to about a 2" diameter which is small as were a lot of Victorian bracelets. There is a chased design on the sides and the top shell cameo is surrounded with a scalloped gold toned design. That top piece is 1 3/4" x about 1 1/4". The cameo is oval in shape and shows a lady sitting under a tree. The cameo appears to have a crack at about the ten o'clock spot which you can see in the close up pictures. Th...

The Pink Lady Collection
This is a very old Victorian piece - probably from sometime around 1860-1880. It is a belt chatelaine, silver plated, I assume, since there are no marks other than a patent. It is 8 inches long from belt to end of bottle. The consensus of opinion among my vintage jewelry friends is that it is a vinaigrette. It appears to be too large to be a perfume bottle. One has to remember that during the Victorian age, there were no room deodorizers, dry cleaners, daily baths, etc., so victorians devis...
