This is a very graceful brooch - I'm not sure about the animal - it could be a mountain goat, I think. Whatever it is, it is very pretty. It is 2" tall and about 1 1/2" wide. It is marked Forbes, 925, as shown. I have been told that Ann Forbes is an artist from New Mexico, but I cannot verify that. Whatever, this is a lovely piece.
