Beautiful Art Deco Galalith and Chrome Necklace

A beautiful machine-age piece in true art deco style made of black and red galalith with chrome and rhinestone details.The pictures do not do justice to this magnificent item. This is a fantastic period piece that is a very wearable size, and in very good vintage condition.

The necklace is 18 inches long with a strong clasp, and the middle design in the front is 1 3/4 inches long. The two geometric side pieces are each just over 1 1/4 inch long by 3/4 inch wide and there may have been a well done, professional repair sometime in the past on each end of the inside-facing chrome/nickel plating to fix or replace the tiny bails. Those inside areas are only noticeable under inspection. More noticeable on the left (as facing) is another small metal repair though. possible done in silver. I have not tried polishing it but the chrome plating shines nicely as is. Overall this necklace is in very good condition with light wear commensurate with it's age.

please see photos. I have added new ones as of 7/9/22 with some in filtered daylight. I apologize for the shadows in some of them, but it's glossy and when fully lit the piece looks new and flawless which would be a misrepresentation as it is about ninety years old :-)
