This is one of a scarce 1942 issue of Native American fur clips - that typically would be one-half of a duette - the other clip being the male. However, there were some that were made to wear independently and one can usually see the difference if placed side by side. This one has always been a single. The clip is made of rhodium finished pot metal, and the Indian maiden has clear rhinestones on the part of her headband that shows in front, and she is very colorful and beautiful...

This is one of the more unusual pieces I have seen from Vendome. It is a bracelet watch - the watch has a white face set in a copper colored fancy metal oblong piece that is 1 1/4 x 1 3/4". The watch is marked Vendome on the face. The bracelet consists of 6 copper colored chains that connect with a push in clasp in the back. There is also a safety chain. The bracelet watch is about 6 3/4" long - a bit hard to measure because of the safety chain...

It is 7" long with a fold over clasp and each link has a bee, snake, or plant on it and each of those has at least one tiny colored stone. The bracelet is in excellent condition, is light and fun to wear, and is marked, as shown.

I think this is one of the prettier thermoset necklaces that I have seen because of the rhinestone triangles between the links. They really set off the red and gold. The necklace is a choker that extends up to 17", with the pattern of links and rhinestones all around the front and up the sides - about 9" of the length of the necklace. The matching earrings are clips and each one i 1 1/4" long. The set is in very good condition and it is not marked.

I love this kind of thing - but rarely find any around my area. This art deco dress clip is quite old, and it is very detailed, probably made of pot metal which has a sort of pewter colored finish. The flower and leaf design is set with a colorful assortment of glass stones. It is a little over 2 1/2" x 2". It is in good condition with a good clip that holds well, and has prongs to hold it in place when worn. It is marked LN which is Little Nemo.

This was a "must" for every well-dressed woman in the middle of the last century - a lovely pearl necklace, and since most could not afford the real thing, many companies made quality glass pearls, hand knotted between each pearl to make them lie better, and look more real. I'm not sure where the terminology came from to call these old necklaces cherry amber since there is no amber present - only bakelite. This one is typical of the necklaces one finds under cherry amber bakelite - a rich red faceted, graduated bead necklace, hand knotted. It is 27" long and has a simple spring ring closure. The largest bead in the center is 10 mm. and the one nearest te=he clasp is 2 mm. They have been simichrome tested and are in beautiful condition with no problems.

This is an unusual set that I have had for years and kept because it is so unusual. The brooch has a center flower made out of the clear and white givre stones, and then there are black rhinestones set all around it to form a sort of square which is 1 3/4" each way. I call these earrings wings, because instead of dangling they follow the shape of the ear upward. These kinds of earrings are from the 1950s and 1960s and came in all kinds of material even feathers. They were meant to be worn with the updo hairdos of the time. These are clear rhinestones of various shapes and sizes and are shiny rhodium backed. They are 2" by 1" and very showy. The are in excellent condition with no problems and no makers marks.
