This is a name not found in old jewelry very often, but when I do find it, I buy it because I think the quality is right up there with Eisenberg and Sherman. Bright gorgeous stones and rhodium plating - just a ton of sparkle. The design is blue baguettes separated by big sparkling aurora borealis stones. All are prong set. The necklace is adjustable up to a bit more than 16". The extender is set with round faceted blue stones with a big AB one on the end, and even the hook is set with stones...

This is a big necklace and an older Kenneth Lane piece. The chain is a heavy link and it is 34" long with a fold over clasp. The Egyptian motif pendant is large too - 3" by a little over 2" wide. Wearing it is definitely going to make a statement. The chain is tarnished and darker than the pendant which is obviously gilded. The pieces are in good condition except for tarnish and the pendant is marked, as shown.

This is really a beautiful old piece - gold plated over sterling and made to look like an enameled pansy bloom. There is a brilliant blue faceted rhinestone prong set in the middle. The diameter each way is about 1 3/4". The metal is nice and shiny, and the clip works well. The only damage to the enamel is a tiny round spot that you should be able to see in the close up picture, right at about 11:00 on the top flower petal. The rest of it is perfect...

This is a really nice string of glass tigers' eye beads, graduated from about 7.5 mm in front to 2 mm. in the back. It is 14" long and has a barrel clasp. There are tiny white glass rondels between the small beads on the side and back. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks anywhere, and it is lovely when worn.

This is an unusual set that I have had for years and kept because it is so unusual. The brooch has a center flower made out of the clear and white givre stones, and then there are black rhinestones set all around it to form a sort of square which is 1 3/4" each way. The metal is rhodium plated so it is bright shiny silver. The matching earrings are clips - sort of half circles that imitate the brooch. The set is in good condition and all three pieces are marked.

This is an interesting face pin made of carved obsidian, set in sterling with sterling earrings and headdress. It is a bit under 2" by 1 1/2". It is in good condition although the silv4r could use a good polish, and it is marked on the back Sterling and Mexico.

This is just a fabulous bracelet - clear resin - irregularly shaped around the top and side edges, and it is 2" wide across the top. On the cuff ends, it is about 1 3/4". The golden stripes are applied lucite and they are studded with golden studs at various intervals. The inside is about 2 1/4" across. The bracelet is brand new, in excellent condition and JMP Paris is etched in one end.

This is a fine sterling pin or brooch which is well known by many vitage jewelry collectors. According to the Brunalti Book "American Costume Jewelry," it was designed by Murray Slater and produced in 1947 by Goldseal Mfg, under Patent number 146752 dated 1947

The pin is done in sterling vermeil with a green rhinestone set collar and clear rhinestone set cuffs and instrument. The instrument as well as the arlequin's hands are silver, and the rest is vermeil...

This was a gift to my grandmother in the 1950s and it was an odd gift for her since she never smoked! It has been in a box in my cousin's house ever since my grandmother passed away in 1961. It is a lovely painted cigarette case and matching lighter in a presentation case all from Stratton of London who did many of the most beautiful compacts and cases. The painting is of roses on a creamy white background. All three of the pieces are in excellent condition, the presentation case, not as good...

I don't think one sees much of this kind of bangle bracelet from Sandor. We are all used to their enameled flower pins, and things like that, but this is a rarity - a wide well made gold colored fancy bangle set all around the front with faux turquoise cabochons, ruby red glass stones in a marquise shape and clear and cabochon turquoise colored smaller stones. It is really gorgeous, and although the jewels don't go all the way around, the fancy metalwork does...

This is a large cross necklace. The cross pendant is 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is set with bezel set brightly colored faceted glass stones. The metal is silver colored and I think it is probably pot metal. The chain on the necklace is 22" long and has a spring ring closure. The cross is very old, but I believe the chain is newer. The necklace is in good shape and marked with the hour glass mark of the New England Glass Company, as you can see in the last picture.

This is a well-known and hard-to-find set in very good condition. It is shown on page 353 of Julia Carroll's book, Collecting Costume Jewelry 202. She feels that the set can be attributed to Hobe because a signed necklace was shown on line that matched exactly. However, this set is not marked, and I am not comfortable attributing unmarked vintage. So - we'll let it stand on its own merits which are considerable. First of all, the set is big - the larger of the figured pieces are 2" x 1 3/4"...

Many of the Eisenberg Originals were mostly rhinestones, but this one is unusual. It is very heavy, and the metal is gold colored - I would assume, gold plating over pot metal. It depicts a flower and has green enameled leaves, clear rhinestone leaves, and a large pink rhinestone in the center of the flower. It is 3 1/2" long by 2 1/2" wide, so it is big enough to make a statement when worn...

This is a lovely new silver colored heart locket covered by a glittering assortment of clear and auroraq borealis rhinestones. The heart opens and has a cream colored interior - perfect for a picture or a keepsake. The pendant is on a 32" snake chain with a 2" extender, and it has a lobster claw clasp. The locket part has a magnetic closure. Since it is new and never worn, it is in perfect condition. The heart is inscribed, as shown, and there is a Kirk's Folly metal hang tag on the chain...

This necklace is not signed, and I think it is from the Art Deco (late 1920s to early 1930s)Period. The 1/4" deepble faceted glass beads, alternate with round silver, saw tooth disks. Most unusual. The wearable length of the necklace measures 16". There is minor wear to the finish and it has a flower push clasp. There are no marks, but the necklace has all the characteristics of the beautiful pre-war Czech pieces that we all love.

I love Whitby Jet and have bought a lot of it over the years. This bracelet is really special because the center of it on top is a carved shamrock. The shamrock is about 7/8" each way. The faceted pieces on the stretch bracelet are that wide in front and go down to about 5/8" wide in the back. Unstretched it is 7 1/2" around, so I think it would fit most people. It is big on me but I have a small wrist - about 6 1/4", and I would think that anyone with a wrist smaller than that would have troubl...

This is a pretty brooch about 1 3/4" in diameter. It has silver colored textured leaves and claw set green crackle glass balls all around and in the center. The color is a light green for the crackle glass. The brooch is in good condition with no problems and it is not marked.
