These necklaces are usually well-known to fashion jewelry collectors. They come in a variety of colors, and becoming rare and difficult to find. This one is very nice Art Deco sterling silver & enamel bubble necklace. The figure is either Pierrot or a Harlequin, I'm not sure which. The colors are very nice with a blue background and shades of brownish red, green, and white. Each enameled pattern is outlined with sterling silver. The necklace is approx...

This is a fairly contemporary flapper girls pictured among flowers and butterflies. The colors are brilliant, and the brooch has an unusual construction as you can see from the back. It is unsigned and the date of manufacture is only a guess, but it is not terribly old. It is in excellent condition and is pictured in Kathy Flood's book "Vintage Visages".

Description: This is a shiny gold toned ring - a plain shank about 1/4" wide, and it has a small heart dangle on the top which is also shiny gold toned. The ring has no marks of origin, The ring is djustable - Closed it is a 5 1/2, so I would think it could be extended to at least 7 1/2. The condition is excellent - bright and shiny.

This is a nice round smooth gold toned locket - 1 1/2" in diameter with a large claw set ruby red stone in the center. Please excuse my window blinds reflected on it in the picture. It's always hard to get a picture of a shiny round object. Anyway, this is a nice lock which holds two pictures. It is on a 17" gold toned chain with a spring ring closure - ready for that special person to wear. The chain is marked AVON, but the locket is not marked.

This is a fun pin from the 1930s - I guess designed by somebody who liked to party. It consists of a cream colored sombrero with three booze bottles hanging from it. One says rum, one - gin, and one- scotch. A little something for everyone. The sombrero is a bit less than 2"x2" and the bottles hang about two inches. The pin is in good condition except for some of the coating that is beginning to come off the the cords holding the bottles. The pin is not marked.

I think this brooch is fairly old - likely from the late 1940s or early 1950s judging by what the previous owner told me. It is a pretty gold toned metal frame and is set in the middle with an operculum, which for those who don't know, is a type of snail shell used a lot in Victorian and Art Deco jewelry. However, I don't think this is from either of those periods. As I said above, I think it is from the 1940s or 50s. It is 2" x 1 1/4" and has a good pin stem and safety catch...

This brooch is 2" x 2" and has a lot of sparkle. People sometimes called the gray rhinestones "black diamonds" and many pieces were made back in the middle of the 20th Century with that combination of rhinestones - a great look, I think. This particular brooch has many different shapes and sizes of gray rhinestones and the edges are accented with clear ones. The back is shiny silver colored, probably rhodium coated. The brooch is in good condition and is not marked.

This is an unusual glass bead and brass necklace - sort of has an Egyptian Revival look to it. It is 16" long with a spring ring clasp that I think has been replaced, but I don't know for sure. The pendant is etched and faceted glass that measures 1 1/2" by 1". It is in excelent condition with no chips, cracks or other problems.

Thie is a bright and cheery old Art Deco piece. The body of the sailfish is a bright red luctie with a big fish eye. The fins and tail are reverse carved clear lucite. The brooch is large - 4" x about 2 3/4". It is made in two pieces held together by the rivets on the pin, which is an old "c" clasp. The brooch is in excellent condition with no problems and he is sure to cheer you up on a cloudy day.

This is a delicate, dainty set and quite old I think. The brooch is a 1" square made up of alternating faux coral roses and rounds of tiny faux pearls. The metal is gold. The matching earrings are screw back and each is a faux coral rose surrounded by fancy metal work. Both pieces are in good condition and none are marked.

This a large pin - 3" x 2 1/4" - picturing a Roman or Greek warrior in his chariot with bow and arrow - ready for battle. The wheel and the warrior's headdress are set with clear rhinestones. The center of the wheel and front and side of the horse are set with small turquoise colored cabochons. The pin is heavy and silver colored, and I assume it is pot metal. It is in excellent condition with no problems and no markings.

This is a really pretty black French Galalith Bracelet that has never been worn, and still has the paper tag, Made in France, inside. The top has a glittery silver enamel and black pattern, and it is outlined by sparkling sapphire blue rhinestones. The bracelet has a standard 2 1/2" inside diameter so it will fit most people. It is in excellent condition, and very unusual.

I really think this is a lovely pin. It is a layered flower and the petals are such a lovely reddish pink tinged with gold colors, The center is a faceted hot pink glass rhinestone and the stem is enameled green. The flower is done in a shiny gold toned metal. The flower is about 1 3/4" in diameter, and the stem adds about another inch to the length. The pin is in excellent condition with a nice and shiny back and the pin holds well.

According to Kathy Flood's book "Vintage Visages" The showgirl in profile was one of the most alluring face pins ever created, and there are dozens of versions of it - some in gems and gold, and others in all types of costume metals. This one is one of the more sought after cotume versions because she has a rhinestone paved face and orchid enamel tresses, as Kathy calls them. In fact, this is the pin pictured page 38 of her book.

This pin is large and heavy. Dimensions are 3 1/4" x 2 1/4"...

'm not sure about the age of this pendant, so I am not putting it in the Art Deco category in my shop. It may be later. The pendant is i 1/2" x 1 3/4", and it is on a 24" silver toned chain. The pendant is stamped, as you can see from the back, and has some turquoise enameling on the front. The chain has a spring ring closure. The piece is in very good condition with no problems, and it is not marked.

This is a pretty old Art Deco beacelet. The links are sterling, and there are three large dark blue glass stones set among the fancy chased sterling links. The closure is a spring ring, and proably not original to the bracelet. However, the link the spring ring fits into is original and says Czechoslavak and has some numbers, and or letters, that I can't read. The bracelet is 7 1/4" long by 1/2" wide, and it is in very good condition with no problems.
