This is a very old and lovely Victorian Cameo necklace. It has two acqu glass stones on each side and the metal is Sterling silver. The necklace with chain and spring ring closure is just shy of 18" long. The cameo dangle piece is 1 1/2" long and the front decoration is 5/8" wide. The stones and cameo are all bezel set...
This is an old Art Deco necklace - 31" long with an Egyptian look with pyramid and rectangular white beads with black striation. There are lots of smaller conical white beads and round topaz colored glass beads sprinkled in. The necklace is long enough to slip over the head so it does not have a clasp. It is very old and all original, I think. It is in good condition for its age.
This is a pretty shiny gold bangle bracelet with atop of multicolored rhinestones, all prong set. It is slightly oval with inside diameters of 2" and 2 1/2". It has a secure catch and a safety chain. The bracelet is inexcellent condition and is not marked.
This is a gorgeous early Czech Carnelian glass necklace. It is 16" long with a 1 1/2" drop in the front. It has a simple old push in clasp and a fairly fine chain. The patina on the back tells you that has been cherished and worn for many years. None of the carnelian or clear glass pieces are chipped or cracked. It is clearly Czech from the Art Deco period even though it is not marked. It is rare to find one of these old step necklaces in such good condition.
This is a very pretty double strand old cream colored pearl necklace with a stunning shell pendant. The pearls are separated with tiny glass rondels. The necklace is a choker, but there is an issue with the fact that the extender is partially missing, so it is only a 12" necklace. I have two choices for extending it - pearls that won't match in all probability, or a gold colored chain. With either of them I could make it 2-3" longer which is how it probably was originally...
This is a very old and lovely Millefiori bead necklace. Note the filligree end caps on all the larger beads along with the barrel clasp. The necklace is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and it is just under 14" long.
This is a cute pin - probably a souvenir of one of the ice shows from the late 1940s. She is made of celluloid, with a painted coral costume, silver skates, black facial features and blond hair. The figure is 2" x 1 1/2". It has a simple "c" clasp. The pin is in good condition and has no marks.
This brooch always makes me smile and remember that spring will eventually get here. It is 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide. The metal is gold and there are enameled green leaves, as well as enameled flower cups in lavender and purple. Each of the flowers has an aurora borealis rhinestone in the center. The gold stem are tied together with a purple bow. It is good cpndition and unmarked
This guy represents one of the things that we no longer see much - the boy on the corner selling newspapers in all kinds of weather. This one is 2" tall and 1" wide, and is made of gold colored metal. There are rhinestones on his hat, coat and on the newspaper. The rest is red and black enameling. The pin is in good shape for as old as it is, and it is a rare pin also because it represents a previous time and place in our history. It is not marked.
This is a pretty pin made of silver colored filigree and it measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/4". Notice that there are two shades of blue here. The larger center stone is sapphire blue, while the two smaller side ones are light blue. The pin has an old "C" clasp, is in good condition, and unmarked.
This is a small Scottish thistle brooch with a large faceted topaz glass stone in the middle. The metal is silver colored and very detailed. The brooch is approximately 1 1/2" x 1 1/2",is in good condition and is not marked.
This is an exceptional Edwardian/Art Deco necklace, I believe, because of the goldcolor metalwork and the rainbow crystal drop in front. Leading from the original spring ring clasp is chain. This is linked to typically decorative open work links on either side alternating with round cut open backed crystals. Suspended from these is an amazing angular rainbow crystal drop showing wonderful colors. There is no damage to the drop and all claw held and open backed crystals are present...
This is a pretty paid of clip earrings. They are made up of rich topaz color with an aurora borealis coated stone at the base of each one to add to the sparkle. They are each 1 1/2"long, in good condition and unmarked.
This is a lovely brooch in the Czech Art Deco style, but I'm not sure it is that old. The rhinestones are bright greenm blue, and red with a faux pearl on each side, and lots of gold colored metal filigree. The brooch measures 2 1/4 x 1 1/2". It is in good condition except for the tiny pearl on the left as you look at the picture. It has lost most of its lustrous coating and probably should be replaced except that it is so small, it is hardly noticeable. The brooch is not marked.
This is a beautiful sparkling set made up of bright red molded cabs, aurora borealis rhinestones, sparkling pink rhinestones and tiny faux pearls set in silver toned metal. Each square is 1" and the design is a stacked one giving the set a lot of interest. The bracelet is is 7" long with a fold over clasp. The earrings are clips and each one is a clone of one of the squares from the bracelet. The set is in excellent condition and it is not marked.
I was a school teacher for many years - and English literature was my favorite subject to teach - so when this play came up, I wore these pins. The kids loved them. They ae gold toned metal with faceted amethyst glass faces and both are decorated with tiny faux pearls. Juliet measures 1 1/2" x 2" and Romeo is approximately 1 1/2" each way. They are in excellent condition and unmarked.
I have gotten so tired of seeing this brooch listed as a piece by Hattie Carnegie. IT IS NOT HC - none of them are. I think the misunderstanding comes from the use if some of the plastic colors that the carnegie fish, and animal bracelets have. I have always thought that it is a nice piece that can stand by itself with a famous name attached.
It is 2 1/2" long and 1 3/4" wide. The mermaid has a faux coral face and body with gold clothing decoratd with rhinestones...
This necklace is not signed, and I think it is from the Art Deco (late 1920s to early 1930s)Period. The 1/4" deepble faceted glass beads, alternate with round silver, saw tooth disks. Most unusual. The wearable length of the necklace measures 16". There is minor wear to the finish and it has a flower push clasp. There are no marks, but the necklace has all the characteristics of the beautiful pre-war Czech pieces that we all love.
