This is a lovely old piece. It is an adjustable thin gold filled bangle bracelet - adjusts up to about a 2" diameter which is small as were a lot of Victorian bracelets. There is a chased design on the sides and the top shell cameo is surrounded with a scalloped gold toned design. That top piece is 1 3/4" x about 1 1/4". The cameo is oval in shape and shows a lady sitting under a tree. The cameo appears to have a crack at about the ten o'clock spot which you can see in the close up pictures...

This is a very unusual bracelet. I have never seen another one like it. It is a celluloid bangle, round with an inside diameter of 2 1/4", a little larger than most are. It is one piece, 1/2" wide in the back and then breaks into 3 pieces on the sides and widens on the sides until it is 1" wide on the top where the cameo is. It is overdyed on the top, I would imagine to set off the cameo more. The cameo is molded and very detailed...

To those of a certain age, this Lil Abner and Daisy Mae enameled chatelaine figural brooch is a reminder of our childhoods. The comic strip was extremely popular in the 1940s and Daisy Mae was still chasing Abner when it all ended with Al Capp's death many years later. If nothing else, Daisy was peristent! The figures are gold tone metal and enameled. Lil Abner is 2 5/8" by 2" and Daisy Mae is 2 1/8" by 1 5/8". The double chain connecting the figures is 4"...

Remember the old kids' rhyme, Mary, Mary, quite contrary, etc.? This is a pin depicting that rhyme, I think. It is made of gold toned metal clear rhinestones, and lots of enamel. It measures 2" x 2" and 8s in good condition with some enamel loss such as might be expected from the age of the pin, which I think is about 60 years. It has no marks of origin.

This is an unusual glass bead and brass necklace - sort of has an Egyptian Revival look to it. It is 16" long with a spring ring clasp that I think has been replaced, but I don't know for sure. The pendant is etched and faceted glass that measures 1 1/2" by 1". It is in excelent condition with no chips, cracks or other problems.

This is a hinged bangle bracelet that I bought for myself in the early 1970s. It must have been an impulse buy because I have never worn it much. It is pretty, but I don't have much green to wear it with. It is gold toned metal, and opens from the top. It is 1" wide at the top and goes down to 1/4" at the back where the hinge is. It is small for a bangle - sort of oval shaped, and 2 1/4" one way- 2" the other way.It is in good condition and it is not marked.

I have gotten so tired of seeing this brooch listed as a piece by Hattie Carnegie. IT IS NOT HC - none of them are. I think the misunderstanding comes from the use if some of the plastic colors that the carnegie fish, and animal bracelets have. I have always thought that it is a nice piece that can stand by itself without a famous name attached.

It is 2 1/2" long and 1 3/4" wide. The mermaid has a faux coral face and body with gold clothing decoratd with rhinestones...

This is quite an old and lovely brooch. Deer were often a theme with art deco objects. This brooch is 2 1/2" x 1 3/4", and is very detailed in the depiction of what is probably supposed to be a fawn and her baby. The brooch is in very good condition and it is marked Sterling, as shown.

These earrings are dangling double hoops done in two different shapes of clear rhinestones for a special effect. They are made of silver metal and they are clips. There is a clear round rhinestone on the ear and then a top hoop that is 1" in diameter with the bottom one being 1 1/4". When worn, they dangle about 2". They are in excellent condition and they are not marked.

This is a great old Art Deco Egyptian motif pin. The pin measures approximately 1 1/2 inches and is very well made. The metal is gold gilt brass. The detail of the enameling is excellent. The motif is classic Art Deco. The opening of King Tuts tomb, in 1922 had a profound influence on Art Deco jewelry motifs. Egyptian designs were very popular, especially scarabs. This authentic old Art Deco piece is in very good condition, just one small bit of missing enamel. There are no marks.

This is a very unusual Art Deco piece - applejuice colored celluloid with gold toned metal on top and a tiny pink cameo. The bracelet has a hook mechanism on the back so that it is easy to put on andtake off. On the top, where the cameo is, it is 3/4" wide and the rest of the bracelet is 1/4" wide. I am not sure what the cameo is made of, but I think it is glass, not celluloid as it is cool to the touch. The bracelet is in very good condition, and most unusual.

I don't think they come much prettier than this set. The large aqua blue stones are in the middle row and there are good sized clear stones set on each side on all four pieces. The stones are all prong set, and the set is done in silver colored metal. The necklace is not adjustable. It is 15 1/4" long and has a push in clasp. It is 5/8" wide...

This is a large wooden brooch measuring 3" by 2 1/2". I've seen it referred to as a man or as a woman - thus, the Sultan or Sultana designation. I don't know but it is very pretty, large enough to be noticed, and quite unusual. The hair is painted brown and the face is gilded - fairly typical of these kinds of pins, but most don't have the jewels in the headpiece. They are multicolored and very sparkling...

Thie is a bright and cheery old Art Deco piece. The body of the sailfish is a bright red luctie with a big fish eye. The fins and tail are reverse carved clear lucite. The brooch is large - 4" x about 2 3/4". It is made in two pieces held together by the rivets on the pin, which is an old "c" clasp. The brooch is in excellent condition with no problems and he is sure to cheer you up on a cloudy day.

This is an adorable brooch. The fish's body is coral colored plastic, there is a lot of metal detail for seaweed, plus imitation pearl bubbles, and rhinestone accents on the fish tail and in two places on the seaweed. It is approximately 2 1/2" x 2" - so it is large enough to be noticed. It is in excellent condition front and back and it is not marked.

This is a large oval striped picture locket - measures 1 1/4 x 1 1/2" which with the 1" bale makes the drop 3" long. The chain is 18" with a lobster claw closure. I don't think the chain is original to the locket, but it works well with it. The locket is in good condition with a couple of small wear spots on the back and by the hinge. It seems well made, but there is no maker's mark.

This is a small authentic Victorian mourning brooch, such as were made popular by Queen Victoria, who wore mourning dress and jewelry until her death after Prince Albert died. Thi brooch is oval - 2" x a bitless than 1 1/2". There is a small circle in the middle with a hair compartment surrounded by tiny pearls. The brooch appears to be jet or glass of some kind and it has an old "C" type clasp. It is in very good condition with no marks.

Description: This is a shiny gold toned ring - a plain shank about 1/4" wide, and it has a small heart dangle on the top which is also shiny gold toned. The ring has no marks of origin, The ring is djustable - Closed it is a 5 1/2, so I would think it could be extended to at least 7 1/2. The condition is excellent - bright and shiny.
