This is a very old Haskell set as you can tell from the beautiful beading and also from the silver colored backs. The colors of yellow - from Vasoline to Off White make it very unusual and pretty. The pin 2" x 1 1/4" and has a little bit of everything - clear yellow glass beads, large pear shaped stones plus a round one, some elongated white ones, and then the large opaque round stone on the end that glows yellow in the light. The matching earrings are clips - each one 1" in diameter...

This is an unusual set that I have had for years and kept because it is so unusual. The brooch has a center flower made out of the clear and white givre stones, and then there are black rhinestones set all around it to form a sort of square which is 1 3/4" each way. The metal is rhodium plated so it is bright shiny silver. The matching earrings are clips - sort of half circles that imitate the brooch. The set is in good condition and all three pieces are marked.

This is a mint in the box 1972 Reed and Barton Christmas Cross - the second in a series issued each year. The cross is Sterling and can be worn as a pendant or used as a Christmas tree ornament. I measures 3" x 3". I bought it myself in 1972 at the old Bullocks Dept. Store in Los Angeles, thinking I would collect a set of them, but this is the only one I ever bought. I have never had it out of the box except to photograph it. The Bullocks price tag of $10 is still on the box...

These two adorable Dutch boy and girl clips are Adolph Katz designs patented in 1945. They are Sterling Vermeil and are decorated with prong set blue and red bright rhinestones. Their costumes are completed with some pave set clear rhinestones on their collars and hats. Each clip is approximately 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" wide. Their cnditions are excellent - no breaks in the Vermeil, and the clips are tight and work well. They are both marked with the Coro Pegasus and Sterling.

The brooch is typical of Jomaz attention detail in order to make fashion jewelry look like the real thing. The trees' trunks and palm fronds are made of textured gold colored metal. Each frond has a sparkling clear rhinestone in the middle and there are also three of them at the base of the brooch. The two emerald green glass stones are molded, and I suppose they are supposed to be coconuts. The brooch is 2" x 1 1/2", and it is marked Jomaz, as shown.

This is a lovely old piece - a true carved cameo with a diamond chip in the lady's necklace. It is set in a fancy chased gold plated metal frame and it is 1 3/4" x1 1/4". It is marked with the W within a triangle which is the mark of the J.J. White Company who was in business from the late 1800s on into the middle of the 20th Century, so it could be Victorian, but I think it has more characteristics of the later Art Deco Period.

This bracelet is absolutely Alice Caviness "Eye Candy". I have seen it pictured in a couple of books, but have never seen another one in person. It is a huge gold colored bangle set halway around with round and baguette yelow and gray topaz glass. The top is absolutly a shoiw stopper. The large faceted yello stone is 1" x 1 1/4" and it is completely surrounded with sparkling round and baguette yellow and gray faceted sparklers, all of which are prong set. That top piece measures 2" x 2 1/4"...

This is a very old Hobe brooch - if you check the mark, you will see that the modified triangular shape is a very old one. Te brooch is very ornate, - it is 2 1/2" from side to side and about the same in the center from the top to the bottom of the tassels. There are three bezel set glass stones - green, amethyst, and pink colors, and if you look at the bezel settings closely, you can see that they are irregular indicating that they were hand made without the precision of machinery...

This is one of the costume bracelets that were made in the 1950s and 60s to imitate the real gold Victorian watch slide bracelets. Several costume companies made them, and this one comes from ART. It is 7" long with a fold over clasp and each link has a bee, snake, or plant on it and each of those has at least one tiny colored stone. The bracelet is in excellent condition, is light and fun to wear, and is marked, as shown.

This is one of my own peronal collection of St. George and the Lion jewelry. It is 6 1/4" long - bit hard to measure because it has a safety chain, and there is a spring ring closure. The links are not quite one inch wide. The Bracelet is European, most likely German, and it is marked B.B.S. 800. I believe it is from the Art Deco Period - most likely 1930s.

This is another one of my blackamoor collection that I am slowly persuading myself to part with. I have collected them for years, and love all of them, but I don't think any of my children are very interested. Thus, I am listing them off and on as I can bring myself to do it. This one is a slender one with a length of about 2" and a width of 2 1/2". His golden costume is decorated with turquoise glass buttons and he wears a fancy headdress with a 1 1/2" chain tassel...
