This is a Coro Duette, consisting of two dress or fur clips on a custom frame, so that they can be worn separately or as one pin. This particular design was patented by Coro's Adolph Katz in 1944. It consists of gold plating over sterling. Each of the birds is about 1 1/4" long with a 1" wing span. As one pin they are about 2 1/4" by 1 1/2". This is really an unusual demi-parure - done in many beautiful colors and shapes of rhinestones set off with clear ones. The brooch is three leaves, curved as if they were blowing in the wind, so that the pin is about 1/2" from the back, and it is 2" x 2". The metal is shiny goldtone. The matching earrings are combination screw/clip backs so that you can make them comfortable for your own ears. Each of them is a smaller version of the brooch. The set is in excellent condition...

This is my rare find of the year - a Max Neiger Egyptian Revival brooch from the 1930s. It is pictured on the dust cover of the book, "Egyptian Revival:Jewelry and Design" by Nichols, Foote and Allison, and it is also pictured inside the book. For those who do not know the story, the Neiger Brothers were in business in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia, in the 1930s and they made a lot of pieces with Egyptian and Oriental Designs...

This is a small gold toned pin - just 1" x 3/4". I think it depicts a pineapple and the layered leaves are all set with tiny clear rhinestones. They are all present and sparkling, and considering it is such a small pin, it has lots of sparkle anyway. It is marked Ciner, as shown.

This is a very pretty Maltese cross brooch made by a company whose name I have not heard before. It is 2" each way, and made of a sort of chased gold colored metal. In the center, is an enameled square set with a large faceted bezel set sapphire blue rhinestone. It has a loop at the top so if you had a chain that would fit through it, you could wear it as a necklace. It is in good condition and is marked Pisces, as shown.

I love the DeNicola look - it always looks like real jewelry, and this pin is no exception. I don't find jewelry by this maker very often, but when I do, I try to buy it because it is always so beautiful and well done. This little elephant has his trunk up to bring you good luck and he has glitzy decorations. The elephant measures about 2 1/4" x 2, and has a bright, textured goldtone surface with all kinds of simulated gems...

Stunning pink Boucher Flower Spray - so lovely, I hate to sell it, but I am selling most of my collection, so it must go also. The metal is rhodium plated and the front of the leaves and stem is all sparkling clear rhinestones. The pink "flowers" are large faceted glass stones that almost seem to glow. The brooch is a bit less than 2" x 3" and it is in excellent condition. It is marked Boucher's early phrygian cap mark, as shown.

There is a large clear faceted stone that sits on the ear, and then two sections of dangle so there is more movement when they are worn, which makes them really sparkle. They are in perfect condition - bright and shiny both front and back. Both are marked Bogoff.
