I think this kind of bracelet from Richelieu is somewhat of a rarity. This is a bracelet that is hinged at the bottom and opens between the animals' heads. I'm not sure what the animals are - they look a lit like mountain goats and they are gold metal set with green rhinestone eyes and turquoise and red beads around their necks. The bracelet is enameled with brownish red paint. The bracelet is in good condition and is marked Richelieuon the inside.

This is one of the items from my personal collection, that I really hate having to give up. However, I don't want my heirs selling it at a garage sale for a quarter either. So, I hope it will go to someone who enjoys it as much as I have. It is 7" long, 1" wide, and ithas a safety chain. I believe it is quite old - probably from the 1940s. It isin excellent condition with no problems and it is marked, as shown.

This is a delightful pinn - guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time you look at him. KJL did a series of clown pins in the 1970s. The black and white one standng atop a faux pearl seems to be the most common. This one - called the ringmaster ismuch harder to find intact. It is 2 1/2" tall with a faux pearl face, rhinestone eyes, a red, white, black and rhiestone outfit, all done in shiny gold tone metal...

This is a colorful Hobe Bead Necklace 15" long with a spring ring clasp. Some of the beads have aurora borealis coatings and the predominent color is a deep rose pink. The matching earrigs are clips and each is a cluster of the beads. I have a theory that this necklace should have been strung on thread and have had a hobe clasp. However, it is strung on fine chain and so Ithink it has been restrung and theclasp changed...

I believe this set dates back to the 1960's. It is a pin - 4 1/2" wide in a very modernist style. The matching earrings are screw backs, and they each 1" x 3/4". The set is in good condition but could use some polishing. The brooch is marked, as shown.

This is my rare find of the year - a Max Neiger Egyptian Revival brooch from the 1930s. It is pictured on the dust cover of the book, "Egyptian Revival:Jewelry and Design" by Nichols, Foote and Allison, and it is also pictured inside the book. For those who do not know the story, the Neiger Brothers were in business in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia, in the 1930s and they made a lot of pieces with Egyptian and Oriental Designs...
